Finally some news for my HTC legend :D

The official rollout of Android 2.2 is underway starting with today's newsof the Nexus One update. While some of our readers are clinging to the hopes that their phone will see an update beyond Android 1.6, others are already looking further down the road. As we've seen with some first generation of devices, Froyo might not be in the cards. Tech site Recombu has received word from HTC that at least three of their 2010 handsets will see Android 2.2 as soon as next quarter (Q3).

Cant recount how many times i lost those collections of MSN emoticons i have collected due to formatting my pc... also MSN have no way of backing up those emoticons to be transfered to another pc..

i found a few programs but they are carrying viruses and trojans.. grr.. then i found this.. :)

With the recent raise in Electricity and Petrol... Came accross this interesting Email Forward to share...

Let's to do some calculations here. In Malaysia the average family income is RM3000 (Father works, mother doesnt). I understand there are a lot of families whose income don't reach RM3000, but, to make things simple, lets take RM3000 as the figure. ok la right?
Okay, let's start rolling with a family which has Papa, Mama, 1 daughter and 1 son.

Electricity and water bil RM100 (no aircond, no home theatre, no water heater k?)

Telekom and Handphone bil RM100 (cannot make a lot of calls one you know? (NO Streamyx also)

Meal for the whole happy family RM775 (3 meals on RM25/day, RM25 for 4
persons????)

Papa makan/teh tarik during working hours RM155 (RM5/day, RM5 can eat what?)

Car repayment RM400 (a proton saga aeroback, 7 years repayment)

Petrol RM300 (Living in City, Jam) Go to work, bring son to school, only can afford one car running.

Insurance RM650, (kids, wife and myself).

House repayment RM750 (Low cost housing repayment for 30 years, retired still have to work to pay house!)

Tuition RM80 (got that cheap meh?? No, I don't think so)

Older children pocket money @ school RM20 (RM1/day, eat bread??)

School fees RM30 (enough ah??)

Let's use a calculator to total up... WALAO EI.. Shit! RM3610 already..

RM610 Extra!... How to survive laa tuan-tuan dan puan-puan sekalian??? Our Deputy Prime Minister ask us to change lifestyle? How to change?

Besides that, I believe in Malaysia population, there are millions of Rakyat Malaysia Which still don't earn RM3000/month!!! What is this?

Is 5.00am now... and STILL waiting for my brother to return... so i browse the Forums and came by these interesting scary stories to share :)

Story 1:
Back when Vietnam was raging, Mr. and Mrs. Horren had their only son, Jimmy, taken away from them. He was drafted by the US army, and was all too proud to serve the country. His father, however, had served in the Army during WWII, and knew that war could be hell.Jimmy wrote his family once every two weeks for four months. Then, suddenly, the letters stopped coming. Two months went by, and not a single letter came. The Horrens were petrified, afraid something might have happened to their boy.Just when they were about to give up hope, a letter came to them, sent from somewhere in North Vietnam. It read as follows:Mom and Dad,It's Jimmy. I've been taken prisoner and am being held in a POW camp in Vietnam. They are treating me very well here, so please don't worry. I love all of you. Please make sure little Billy gets the stamp for his collection. I'll write again as soon as I can.Love, Jimmy"Billy? Who's Billy?" Mrs. Horren wondered."It's a clue," said Mr. Horren. There once was a lonely man who lived in an apartment complex a couple floors up. One day, he looked at the apartment complex across from his. He saw a window covered by curtains. However, he could still make out an outline of a woman, who appeared to be dancing. Over the course of the following days, he would look longingly at the woman dancing, at what appeared to be day and night. He fell in love with her, and so, one day, he finally got up the courage and decided to visit her. He got dressed up, bought some flowers, and was ready to go. He went up to where her room was and knocked on the door. ...no reply. He knocked again. There was no answer. Starting to feel worried, he started to rush and slam into the door. Finally the door gave way and he was eternally mortified at what he saw. There was indeed a woman yes, but she was not dancing...She had hung herself, and her body was just swaying in the wind (coming from an open window), giving off the illusion of dancing.

There was a man, let's call him Gregory. Gregory was carrying a small box, and he went to another man's house (we'll call him Jebediah) and knocked on the door. When Jebediah answered, Gregory said "I have a proposition for you. Take this box. There is a button inside. If you press the button before I return, someone that you don't know will die. Tomorrow, I will return. If you have pressed the button, I will give you $20,000."Gregory left the box with Jebediah. Jebediah had to consider what he was going to do. Eventually he decided that he didn't care about the person, and he pressed the button.The next day, Gregory returned to take back the box. "Well then, I belive that this is yours," he said, giving $20,000 to Jebediah. "Thank you," Jebediah said. "By the way, I'm just curious: What are you going to do with the box now?"

Story 4:
There was this old man who was the world's greatest magician, his name was Ken. His greatest trick though involved two glass containers about the size of phone booths. A person would stand in each one, he'd peform his magic, then people would appear in the other container that they had not started in. He had done the trick once to himself and twice to female assistants.

Since he was getting old and ready to retire it was time for him to find a younger magician to replace him. Eventually he found a promising young man (Henry) and took him as his apprentice. Henry was not only a great magician but extremely ambitious to become the greatest magician of all time. Ken had been his biggest inspiration and it was his dream come true to be his apprentice.

Henry knew most of Ken's tricks except for the glass containers. Impatient and furious that Ken would not teach him immediately. He disobeyed Ken and snuck to the containers at night to figure it out himself. He got in one and closed the door, nothing happened at first but then he began to suffocate. Right when he thought he was done for, some one opened the door. It was Ken and he was angry, he scolded Henry and told him the trick required two people.

Eventually the time came for Ken's last show. He signed off his manor, cars, money and everything to Henry right before the show leaving him with nothing. The show would be the official coming of Henry to take his place. Henry still didn't know how the trick worked and was scared when Ken told him they were going to perform it as the last trick. Ken told him not to worry, he wouldn't suffocate and they he would learn how the magic worked as it happened.

The show goes on and it's time for the last trick. Ken and Henry get into the containers but not before waving to the audience. The magic happens and everything gets blurry for Henry. Suddenly he found himself at the opposite side of the room! The tricked worked automatically! He didn't need to do anything! Suddenly he noticed he felt different. To his horror he saw his body was old and he was wearing Ken's clothes. He looked to his left and saw his own body waving to the audience. The glass chambers left the soul in the container but switch the bodies!

The curtains fell and Ken in Henry's body walked to Henry grinning.

"Hold on to that came Henry, you'll need it for those back pains. As you've probably guessed the chamber switches the body, but not the soul! You see I'm actually a magician from Egypt thousands of years ago... Not wanting to grow old and die I created this device to transport myself into a younger man whenever my current body gets too old. I do it about once every 40 years under the guise of a retiring magician. Allow me to introduce you to my female assistant. I'm sorry, my wife... She does the transformation about once every 20 years."

Ken walked away laughing, Henry tried to follow but fell to the floor in pain.

Story 5:
So there's this couple who really love hiking and the boyfriend is like the leader of the hiking club in his school. So this one summer the whole club have a camping/hiking event in this remoted mountain area and the girlfriend of course go with the club, with her boyfriend leading the event and all.So they set camp at the bottom of the mountain and get ready to start hiking into the mountains, but the girlfriend twists her ankle and isn't fit for long hours of walking, so she stays at the camp and awaits.A few hours later the team comes back but short of one person - her boyfriend isn't with the team. The others are all sorry and scared and tell the girlfriend how their trail has been blocked by rocks and her boyfriend has tried to clear the path, being the leader of the team, when he's killed by a landslide. That night they sit around the campfire and make dinner but nobody is talking. The team creates an eerie silence, perhaps because everyone's too upset over what happened.

So here comes the scary part.... All of a sudden the boyfriend comes out of nowhere with blood all over him, and he dashes into the group and grabs the girlfriend and drags her away from teh camp, the girl is of course scared and screaming and kicking, and the others are running and shouting after him, trying to get the girl back.... but the boyfriend drags his girlfriend and just keeps running....

After a while the boyfriend finally stops, with the team nowhere in sight, and puts his girlfriend down. the girl is so scared, she doesn't know wut to do. The the boyfriend finally says..."There was a big landslide and I was badly hurt. Everyone else was killed."

I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be
over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him looking at
his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I
would evaluate his wound.

On exam it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got
the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.

While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation.
I asked him if he had a doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in
such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the
nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.

I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been
there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer Disease. As we talked,
and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he
was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she
had not recognized him in five years now.

I was surprised, and asked him. "And you still go every morning,
even though she doesn't know who you are?" He smiled as he patted my
hand and said. "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is."

I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm,
and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life." True love is
neither physical, nor romantic.

True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and
will not be.

Thanks to my friend who saw me through the night... i have still no idea how he carried? dragged? me to the car... i have no recollection of anything... just went in and out and spoke of funny stuffs... as my friend was driving i went "hey... you drank too much... you want me to drive?" -_-" LOLZ... vomited in my car the next morning... i was left to sleep in the car in front of my friends' house.. haha..

1. Got hospitalised for wrong medication.

Started with a bad tummy upset and urge to vomit and went and see the doctor. gave me some medicine including some to prevent vomiting. That night after taking the medicines and wanted to go to sleep, they came... i started to hear my inner voiceS once i close my eyes . One says my room is a mess and must clean up before sleep. Another ask me to shake my leg so i get real tired and can sleep. Another ask me to ignore everyone else and hum. So i ended up cleaning my room in jog mode and humming! Pure madness! it went on for 2 hours into the night until i was physically and mentally exhausted. Did all sorts of crazy stuffs including brushing my teeth, taking a partial bath, staring at the mirror, changing clothes... i WAS a madman!~ Lucky for me i was still sane to ask for help from my cousin brother. Went to see the doctor and literally begged him to give me whatever means he has to put me to sleep. gave me 2 sleeping pills... but things went on for bout half hour before i finally was back to normal and could finally get sleep.. just gone... sleep sleep...

Woke up the next afternoon and it was all fine... then ate some bread and the feeling to vomit came back... so took this anti-vomit medicine and it didn't help at all! i was visiting the bowl to the point i have nothing left to vomit... my jaws was hanging and numb due to the exhaustion.
Then i realised i couln't speak properly as my tougue would curl up to the back as i open my mouth to speak! urrgh... It was serious time to seek help... so i called up my cousin brother
who was at work to come fecth me to the hospital. It was an eternity for him to arrive and the journey to the hospital was long... i just keep vomitting nothing and my whole body was already aching from the vomiting spasms. i could just wait at the sofa and pray...

At the hospital i was wheeled in the emergency and the nurse was suprised at my speech... and she ask "are you on any mental illness medication?" -_-" as those with mental illness also has curled up tougue and speech difficulties... my speech at that time was already incomprehensible but my mind was clear but exhausted... i have lost my control of my tougue.

I was hospitalised and soon it was diagnosed that all these was due to the anti-vomiting pill i took. I was allergic to it and rather than stopping vomiting my body tried to reject it by inducing vomitting... -_-" the anti-vomit pill acts on the muscles and nerves which explains my tougue... spent nearly 5 days at the hospital running test and all...

A crazy and horrific event... remember to seek help if you feel something weird... i was lucky the voices didnt ask me to kill myself so i can sleep!!... i would have done it at that time.. it was that seriously drained my mind was...

Few days ago...
1. Got own3d in DoTA game by my collegue using Lina... -_-" He went Beyond GodLike for the first time. To think he was a n00b who only uses and train Lina. :D
2. Urrghh... 30 cents increase in fuel price... and my tank was at E... -_-" RM40 for 20.xx litres.

Yesterday
1. Had my hair cut. New style. Like it?

1. Too much attention went to my hair at work... :Þ
2. Had dinner at Wong Kok @ IOI Mall. Tried a drink, Cappucino Coke. Nice :)

Am happy with it except for the fact it is quite sensitive to java games and cause them to hang without reason or time... :( From the little info gather from the net... it seems to be more of a the game programmers fault in not allocating the proper resource for the game causing it to freeze and stop responding :Þ

Downloaded Spy Sweeper today from webroot and did a scan...
Wow... and you thought your computer is very well secured with the many firewall, routers, spyware, etc... you have setup...

The software detected a total of 35 traces, with 3 being KeyLoggers, and 5 being trojan downlaoders... :( wonder what damage has been done... must change my Online Banking passwords fast...
